 Many homes may experience some mustiness in winter. However if you own a home with monolithic or plaster cladding, it\u2019s important to check that external moisture is not penetrating the protective paint layer.<\/p>\n

In addition to regular painting to keep moisture out, Surecoat recommends you perform a comprehensive check of the plaster cladding<\/a>. Maintenance checks should be done at least once a year and during the wet winter weather is a great time to do so. <\/p>\n

Early defect detection and repair can prevent rot and mould from setting in. This can in turn, save on costly and extensive repairs in the future.<\/p>\n
